Katharina Grosse | Psychylustro

Katharina Grosse covered dilapidated warehouses, overturned fences and withered weeds on the edge of the tracks with several layers of bright acrylic spray paint. Seven "murals" under the project title "Psychylustro" are lined up along the route 30th Street Station in Philadelphia to Atlantic City, New Jersey. For the 34,000 commuters who pass them every day, they are a monument to the aesthetics of their city.
